Procrastinate

Do you wait until last minute to do things? I do! I am the world's worst procrastonator! For instance, my daughters report card is due by March 17th and I haven't even filled it out yet or called in for her to do her oral part of the report card. (We homeschool).

I've tried alot of different things to help myself to keep from procrastinating  but nothing helps! I tried prescriptions to help keep me focused and they worked great until my body got used to it. I have a weird body. Medication wears off of me after a while. I literally could never be addicted to medicine even if I tried.

However, I have found that keeping a life management folder together where I can write down my tasks and the things I need to do and so far that is the best thing I have found! I will be posting several different sites I used for free printables to help with my folder.

This book has saved my life in many different ways! Not only does it help with things but our bills are on track now and so much more! Here is a few sites where you can get some free printables to help with your life!

Soul Mate Statistics

This article I found is talking alot about match.com which is funny because I actually met my soul mate on match!

3 years ago I decided out of the blue to get on match. My dad told me for years I should do a dating service but I thought the idea was silly. But I decided to do it after my terrible divorce. (Another post to come about this topic). Well I talked to a few guys but none of them really seemed like a good fit and then this guy Jonathan showed up so I sent him a wink because I thought he was cute! I told myself I would never date a younger man again since my ex husband seemed too immature for me. But he sent me a message and everything kicked off from there.

A few weeks later we met for the first time. My friend Christine and I drove our friends to the Houston airport and Jonathan had a crawfish broil thing in Houston. Sooooooo...we decided to meet up. And for me it was love at first site.

We dated for a few weeks and he proposed! And of course I said yes!

Then I moved to Louisiana to be with him! We were so happy! Then a year passed and he got a job working pipeline so I was on my own until we sold the house and I could finally move in with him.

It was a struggle. I was all alone in a huge house with 2 kids and 4 dogs and occasionally I took his 3 children. Plus we had a garden so I had to keep up with that! Eventually we sold the house and I was able to move in with him.

We finally had saved up enough money to be able to plan our wedding. I wanted to do it right this time since my first marriage was in a court house. So Jonathan set the date for Sept. 5th, 2015. And that gave me a year to plan. It also gave me something to do while I was indoors in our very small travel trailer. Months passed and tons of wedding supplies later the week of the wedding was here! I was so excited but I had so much to do before the wedding. I stayed at my mom's but had to sleep on the couch because my God Parents came in from Kansas and they took my small house next door.

We finally tied the knot on September 5th 2015! It was tge best day of my life. Everything was perfect! The cake was amazing my friends were there and all the people that mattered in my life were there to help us celebrate our big day!

American girl dolls

My daughter has about 5 American girl dolls (most were mine when I was younger) so you can imagine the amount of money I spend on accessories for these dolls. Her absolute favorite thing to do is dress up her dolls, not so much play with them. I mean she plays alot but it's putting them in night time clothes and putting them to bed and then changing them in the morning that she really loves. As usual I was playing around on pinterest and came across this really awesome blog! Click here to go check it out! She gives tons of really great ideas! Enjoy!

The maze runner and scortch trials review

I absolutely loved The Maze Runner when it first came out. I love unique movies that aren't predictable and that are not like many other movies already out there. These days it seems that there are so many of the same old movies out there. I mean vampires, how many more ways can you possibly portray a vampire. And zombies. If they make anymore zombie movies I may puke. Anyway, back to the review.

I enjoyed this movie because not only was it unique it was suitable for my children to watch, and as a mother who tries to keep her children from all the bad stuff on TV now a days, it's very hard to find a non disney movie we can all sit down and watch together. The bad language if any is very limited, and there is no SEX. I mean to tell you that is very rare in movies today!

I was so excited when The Scortch trials came out that I pre ordered it at hastings before it even came out. (Hastings is our local movie rental store.) I had alot of expectations for this movie. And I was really impressed with it. It had all the same characters, and the language was at a minimum and once again no sex. There is one scene that is a little scandalous but nothing I would have to shield my  4 and 7 year Olds from. Now there was a twist in this movie that was a little like all the other movies out there that was dissapointing but over all this movie blew my mind. I urge you all to see both! You won't be dissapointed!

You can but The scortch trials on amazon for $10.00 here๐Ÿ‘‰ http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B018HCDQLC/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1454718220&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=the+maze+trials&dpPl=1&dpID=516DJb5itOL&ref=plSrch

And you can buy The maze trials on amazon for  $12.99 here ๐Ÿ‘‰ http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NQFFS5I/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?qid=1454718220&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX220_SY330_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=the+maze+trials&dpPl=1&dpID=61ghM9Xx0%2BL&ref=plSrch

Introduction

Hello! Welcome to my new blog! In this post I will explain a little about myself and a little about what this blog is all about! I really hope you all enjoy! I look forward to feedback!

My name is Ashley Curry and I have 2 children and 3 step children. Lexie is my first born. She is currently 7 (8 in March). She is tall and Gangly and very athletic.  She like most girls enjoys anything outdoors and of course makeup,nails,hair...etc.

My son Austin is 4, (5 in May). He is my little cuddler. He is not violent like most boys,he is very sweet and lives to hug and cuddle. But he does also enjoy doing boy activities!

My stepdaughter Alissa is 6, (7 in August). She is very prissy. A diva of sorts. All about girly things. And very sassy!

My stepson Drew is 4, (5 in July). He is all boy. Sports, mud, grease, anything that he can get into to get dirty  he loves! And I wouldn't have it any other way!

And last but not least is Jonathan Junior! He just turned 3 in January! He is very mischievous! He gets into alot of trouble, mostly because he has to fend for himself most of the time when he is with his mother. ( a blog for another time). But he has a kind heart and has been with me since he was 3 months old so we have a special bond. Not that I don't have a bond with my other step children, but I spent late nights and early mornings with Junior and we spent more time together since he was so small.

Now a little more about myself.  I have an online boutique called The Lovely Hootique. I will also discuss dome things from time to time about my boutique. I also love cooking, swimming and singing. My children and husband are always saying that anytime I'm doing something I'm singing. Haha.

I will be posting product sampling and where to find them or how to get a free sample! I will also post Craft ideas and tutorials. Posts about children behaviors and really anything related to kids and my own experiences! This blog is really a little of everything!  I really hope I have some readers who enjoy my blog! Can't wait to meet you all!
